Fiber35 Diet Here I COME!
The last time I lost a serious amount of weight was about 2 years ago now. After doing a TON of research and considering my personal food preferences (not a meat lover at all) I decided to do a couple things, but the ONE that I feel helped me out the most was that i ADDED A TON OF FIBER TO MY DIET. Tons of beans, vegetables, Fiber Breakfast Cereals ect! Added with working out it helped me lose all the weight I wanted and then some!
While reading over the weekly WOMANS WORLD magainze my Mother In Law picks up for me (yes I'm lucky) My eye was quickly taken by the covers weekly weightloss tip/plan - NEW FIBER Trick. Immediately I remembered how fiber had helped me 2 years ago to take off the weight I wanted and read away. Basically it was promoting the plan devised by Brenada Watson and her new book FIBER35Diet. Pretty much to sum it up....you can loose weight if you get AT LEAST 35 grams of Fiber a DAY! Fiber Stops the absorbtion of some calories and can make you feel full. I didn't need any conviencing that the plan would work....YET I still went out and bought the book this week (it has a ton of information about fiber sources, recipies, exercise info..ect...well worth the purchase).
So TOMORROW I start. Counting not calories so much but FIBER!!! The one thing I can say that is already annoying me is that to get in the full 35 grams you really do need to have a 10 gram of fiber protein shake and snake on a high fiber protein bar for a snack...Yet do you think I have been able to find high FIBER & Protien Shakes or Bars? Heck no..most of the HIGH PROTEIN bars have little or NO fiber in them. OH well...this too I shall find a cure for!
